Day 1: Arrival in Paro to Thimphu

The journey from Paro to Thimphu starts with a scenic 1.5-hour drive through lush valleys and picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival in Thimphu, begin by visiting Tashichho Dzong, an impressive fortress-monastery that houses the office of the king and various religious institutions. Afterward, explore the National Memorial Chorten, a significant Buddhist site dedicated to the memory of the third king of Bhutan.In the afternoon, visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue, an awe-inspiring statue of Buddha overlooking the Thimphu valley. Then, visit the Folk Heritage Museum to gain insight into Bhutan’s traditional way of life. Finish the day by enjoying a peaceful evening in the capital, perhaps exploring the local markets or relaxing in one of the capital's cozy cafés.

Day 2 Thimphu site seeing

In Thimphu, start your day with a visit to Royal Textile  Museum to learn about Bhutan's rich textile heritage. Embark for a short hike to Wangditse monastery which will take you about 30 minutes. After lunch, you can  visit our Mini Royal Takin preserve, then head to the downtown area of Thimphu to experience the capital city without the need for a traffic light. If visiting on the weekend, stop by the Thimphu Farmers Market to sample local produce. Finish the day at Clock Tower Square, a lively spot perfect for relaxing and people-watching. For dinner, enjoy traditional Bhutanese cuisine at Folk Heritage Restaurant or you can have it in your hotel.

Day 3 Thimphu to Punakha

Drive from Thimphu to Punakha, stopping at Dochula Pass (3,100m) for Majestic views of the Himalayan Mountain Ranges and the 108 Stupas. After a short break, continue the journey to Punakha Valley, short stop over for some interesting roadside snacks like barbecue corn and refreshing cucumber salad by farmers from the local village. In the afternoon, embark on a scenic hike to Fertility Monastery, a 30-45 minute hike through lush paddy fields and local houses with fertility symbolic paintings, offering panoramic views of the Village of Sopsokha (Fertility valley). The monastery, perched on a hill, provides a tranquil setting for reflection. Continue to Punakha in the Afternoon, where you can explore the Punakha Dzong and relaxing view of river Male from the Longest Suspension Bridge before checking into your accommodation for the night.

Day 4 Warmth of Punakha

on this day Punakha Valley has to offer you much more than you dream, among many today you can start by hiking to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Monestery which will take about 30- 1 hrs hike through beautiful lush paddy field and evergreen Pine trees. after the tiring and yet enjoying hike, you have the option to try River Rafting (10000 Nu) on river Female (Mochu). 

For Lunch, we have arranged you delicious Picnic at the confluence of River male and female or Zomlingthang under lush Pine trees with the soothing Sound of Crows. 

Towards the evening walk around the farmers market of Punakha and try some of the nice coffee from DSP cafes or the cafe near the farmers markets.

check in to your hotel and relax until the time for your dinner after a tiring day.

Day 5, Go Local Try Local.

Get excited for some activities to enhance your wonders, Today you will be driving to one of our villagers homes, we will be driving to their home to help them with their farm works, please do experience the farmers with planting chillis if it is during spring, do experience planting paddy if it is during paddy cultivating season, or if it is in Autumn experience harvesting local produce or if it is in winter experience the cooking of Few Bhutanese Cuisine and you can share your recipe too. if you are tea lover, try local SUJA of Churned Butter tea or if you are wine lover ask for second share and third share of our local ARA. let's try Local Homestay for a Night or let's return to our Hotel, for a nice shower and relaxed internet surfing.

Day 6, Punakha to Paro via Thimphu

Depart from Punakha at 9 AM and enjoy a scenic 2.5-3 hour drive to Thimphu, with Dochula and himalayan mountains  arriving around 10:30 AM. before enjoying a delicious Bhutanese lunch at one of Thimphu's local restaurants. After lunch, depart for Paro, a 1.5-2 hour stop over for short walk to nearby cantilever bridge and Beautiful Tamchog Lhakhang, arriving around 3:30 PM. Once in Paro, check out a nice cafe such as Mountain Cafe or Champaca Cafe to relax, or explore the town’s attractions like Bhutan Made souvenir shops to buy gifts for your loved one once back home or take a walk around the scenic valley. This day offers a perfect mix of travel, sightseeing, and relaxation.

Day 7, The Great Hike to Tigers Nest.

Begin your day early with a scenic drive from Paro to the base of Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktshang), which is about a 30-minute journey. Begin the hike through pine forests and lush landscapes, which take 2-3 hours uphill. Stop at scenic viewpoints for breathtaking views of the monastery perched on the cliffside. You can stop at Tigersnest cafe halfway through the hike for a short break for tea and snacks. once you reach the monastery, explore its sacred halls, and admire the stunning architecture and serene atmosphere. Afterward, enjoy a well-deserved rest and snack at the cafe on the way down. Conclude your visit with a return Hike to the base for Lunch and a Relaxing Hotstone bath at one of the farmer's house, then head back to Paro Downtown for a relaxing evening. 

Drive back to your Hotel for a night and enjoy your dinner with your Tour Guide and Driver, ( if you want them to join you)
